Emei Mountain and Leshan Giant Buddha 2 days tour
Leshan Grand Buddhalocated at the junction of Minjiang River and Dadu River, Leshan is also called Lingyun Buddha since it is built on Lingyun Mountain.Builtover 1,200 years ago, it was initially built in the 1st year of the reign of Emperor Kaiyuan in the Tang Dynasty (713) and completed in the 19th year of the reign of Emperor Zhenyuan (803) with the duration of 90 years. It is well-proportioned and magnificent with the height of 71m, head height of 14.7m, head width of 10m,shoulder width of 8m and neck length of 6.7m. There are 1,021 chignons on the head with each one placing a large round table. The instep is 8.5m wide and can stand for over 100 persons.



Emeishan Situated at the southwest of Sichuan Basin, 7km from southern suburbs of Emeishan, it houses Da'e Mountain (also called Mt. Emei), Er'e Mountain, San'e Mountain and Si'e Mountain, and extends in north-south direction with the length of 23km and mountain area of about 115 sq.km. The elevation of Wanfo Peak, the highest peak, is 3,099m and the elevation of plain area is only over 400m with relative height difference of over 2,600m, far surpassing Wuyue Mountain, Huangshan Mountain and other famous mountains in China.
